Gabrielle Drake is a Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston College, where she completed the Psychology Honors Program and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology. Gabrielle’s research interests focus on at-risk youth, particularly those who have experienced trauma. She nurtured her interest in psychosocial development through her undergraduate honors thesis examining children’s responses to wrongdoing within intergroup contexts. In addition to research, Gabrielle has gained experience in clinical settings, working with adolescents from low socioeconomic backgrounds diagnosed with anxiety and mood disorders. Gabrielle is dedicated to improving the mental health of underserved populations and is passionate about continuing her work with diverse youth communities through research and clinical practice.
