As senior greenhouse and laboratory technician, I am responsible for the propagation, care and maintenance of the research plants within the greenhouse and growth chamber space of Dr. Raskin’s laboratory. I received my B.S. and M.S. from the Tuskegee Institute as well as degrees from the Moneague Teachers College and the Jamaica School/College of Agriculture. Trained as a specialist in handling plant material and controlling the environmental conditions within a state-of-the-art facility, I am also responsible for monitoring and controlling any pest problems. I am certified as both a pesticide applicator and trainer.
