  • Establishes and maintains mammal cell cultures, including human cells, necessary for bioassay development, including composition and preparation of culture media. Extensive experience with establishment, development and maintenance of plant cell cultures.
  • Preparation of sterile assay plates, performing in vivo assays, collecting samples for analysis.
  • Preparation of plant extract samples for various analyses.
  • General laboratory housekeeping, including preparation of stock solutions, serial dilutions, autoclaving of laboratory materials, disposables and other materials.
  • Closely collaborates with other researchers and laboratory technicians, and actively participates in the training of undergraduate and graduate students.
