How I got into science:<\/strong> I always loved nature and wanted to learn more about\u00a0how it\u00a0functions. I became fascinated by the chemistry and biology of living things because they provided an explanation as to why certain living things behave or function in a certain way.<\/p>\n

Favorite movie:<\/strong> Avengers Infinity\u00a0War<\/p>\n

Hobbies<\/strong>: Gardening, cooking, biking, and hiking<\/p>\n

Future plans\/bucket list<\/strong>: Complete Master’s in Business and Science and carry out research in industry. Train and complete a triathlon\u00a0and visit all national\u00a0parks in the US.<\/p>\n

Trivia:<\/strong> I like to grow and collect plants ranging from traditional houseplants to rare plants that cannot be found at stores.<\/p>\n

Preet is majoring in Biochemistry at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (Honors Program) at Rutgers.\u00a0 He is the recipient of the Aresty Summer Research Scholarship (2020) and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) summer scholarship (2021).<\/p>\n
