Research Focus<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

As a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner born and raised in the Philippines, my research interests have been fueled by my cultural roots and clinical expertise. I am a third-generation nurse with over two decades of experience caring for women and birthing people. My research is focused on sexual and reproductive health and health disparities in diverse and vulnerable populations, specifically among Filipino American women across the lifespan. I am deeply interested and invested in investigating the Filipino American experience and how family, culture, and the community influence health and health outcomes.<\/h4>\n
