After losing all their family members except for one of Sonia\u2019s sisters, Harry and\u00a0 Sonia immigrated to the United States to start a new life. After living for a year in Brooklyn, they settled on a chicken farm in Vineland, NJ.\u00a0 In 1966, they moved to the Atlantic City area where they ran a small hotel until their retirement. Harry passed away in 1986, and Sonia in 2018.
