\"\"Short Bio<\/h2>\n

I am Professor of Computer Science department<\/a> of Rutgers University<\/a>. From 2005-2019 I was on faculty of\u00a0Department of Computer Science<\/a>,\u00a0Stony Brook University<\/a>. I received Ph.D degree from Department of Computer Science<\/a>,\u00a0Stanford University<\/a>\u00a0in 2004, under the guidance of Professor\u00a0Leonidas Guibas<\/a>\u00a0and B.S. degree from the Special Class for the Gifted Young at\u00a0University of Science and Technology of China<\/a>\u00a0in 1999. I spent the academic year 2004-2005 at\u00a0Center for the Mathematics of Information<\/a>,\u00a0California Institute of Technology<\/a>. I currently serve on the editorial board of ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks (ACM TOSN).<\/p>\n

Research Interest<\/h2>\n

My research is in the intersection of Algorithm Design, Computational Geometry and Networking applications such as wireless, mobile, and sensor networks, and more recently social networks, trajectory data\/privacy, and scheduling problems in robotics and networking.<\/p>\n

At Rutgers I am part of the theory group<\/a>, the EconCS group<\/a> and also a member of DIMACS<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Discrete Curvature of Networks and Graphs<\/a>.
\n2. Social Contagions, Influence and Polarization.
\n3. Privacy in Sensing and Learning.
\n4. Network analysis of Human Connectome Data.<\/p>\n

NEW:<\/strong> With a team of great colleagues<\/a>, our proposal for AI Institute ACTION<\/a> was selected as one of the 7 new NSF funded National AI Research Institutes in 2023.<\/p>\n
