\"\"“Congratulations, Amish!\u00a0 I am so happy to see a person who started hesitatingly but with understated confidence <\/span><\/span>accomplish so much.\u00a0 First-author paper in a high-impact journal is a big deal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>To do this work you learnt and used many techniques, quartz crystal microbalance, atomic force microscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy just to name a few.\u00a0 The paper nicely describes the how nanospheres can disassemble to release the drugs\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Once you joined the lab, you\u00a0<\/span><\/span>quickly become one of the highly productive undergraduates.\u00a0 Not only were you productive but\u00a0<\/span><\/span>you were\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> valuable member of the lab <\/span><\/span>who<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>help<\/span><\/span>ed<\/span><\/span>\u00a0everyone in whatever task they needed help with. Your maturity was shown when some of the visitors who worked alongside you thought you were a graduate student. You were meticulous in designing the experiments, diligent in carrying out the measurements, and careful in analyzing the data.\u00a0 I am so glad that you changed your mind from getting\u00a0<\/span><\/span>into a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Master\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0program<\/span><\/span>, which would have been just throwing away your\u00a0<\/span><\/span>talents<\/span><\/span>, to pursuing a PhD. I am pleased that<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0at the least, I did not turn you off from doing research. You will be\u00a0<\/span><\/span>dearly\u00a0<\/span><\/span>missed by everyone in the lab, and most of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>all<\/span><\/span>\u00a0by me.\u00a0 All of is in the lab are happy and proud\u00a0<\/span><\/span>that\u00a0<\/span><\/span>you\u00a0<\/span><\/span>will be\u00a0<\/span><\/span>pursuing your graduate work at Boston University.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Good luck, and best wishes from us all.” -Sanjeeva Murthy, PhD<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
