Economic and Educational Cooperation and Conflict<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
What are the essential economic and educational needs for people in the 21st century and how can we sustain cooperative relations to satisfy those needs? When people cooperate, they can solve major social policy problems, but they can also end up further marginalizing people already on the margins of society, either deliberately or as an unintended consequence. These presentations explore the conditions that promote cooperation among members of Congress (Serrentino-Mullins), the deep inequalities in language acquisition and the impact on educational outcomes (Serio), the economic consequences of Opportunity Zones, and white racial hostility towards immigrants during the Great Recession (Rosenbloom). <\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
