{"id":1723,"date":"2020-09-11T19:56:37","date_gmt":"2020-09-11T19:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/lgsa\/?p=1723"},"modified":"2022-05-24T13:43:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T13:43:45","slug":"rutgers-in-phonology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/lgsa\/rutgers-in-phonology\/","title":{"rendered":"Rutgers in &#8220;Phonology&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">We&#8217;re extremely proud to announce that, out of the four articles featured in the latest issue of <em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/phonology\/latest-issue\">Phonology<\/a><\/span><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em>three of them are from Rutgers linguists! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The first is &#8220;<strong><a class=\"part-link\" style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/phonology\/article\/unbounded-circumambient-patterns-in-segmental-phonology\/AF0AD25DD9EC20420217ED5D2B2A324B\">Unbounded circumambient patterns in segmental phonology<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;, co-authored b<\/span>y Prof. <span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/adammccollum.net\/\">Adam McCollum<\/a><\/span>, <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">alumnus <\/span><strong><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/ucsd.edu\/ebakovic\/\">Eric Bakovi\u0107<\/a>, <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/annamai.net\/\">Anna Mai<\/a>, and <a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/eric-meinhardt\/home\">Eric Meinhardt<\/a><\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The second article, &#8220;<strong><a class=\"part-link\" style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/phonology\/article\/notational-equivalence-in-tonal-geometry\/FA4B2BBB3EA0B122814E28E75EA15DB1\">Notational equivalence in tonal geometry<\/a><\/strong>&#8221; is by one of our graduate students, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/chrisoakden.com\/\">Chris Oakden<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">And finally, the third article was written by another Rutgers alum,<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> <strong><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/staroverov.wayne.edu\/\">Peter Staroverov<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, and is titled &#8220;<strong><a class=\"part-link\" style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/phonology\/article\/opaque-distributional-generalisations-in-tundra-nenets\/B1CD6B60CCDF60827FCF47AA73CCD0C5\">Opaque distributional generalisations in Tundra Nenets<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re extremely proud to announce that, out of the four articles featured in the latest issue of Phonology,\u00a0three of them are from Rutgers linguists!
