On October 18th,\u00a0 one of our fellow graduate students, Ariela Ye, presented at The 55th Annual Meeting of the North East Linguistic Society (NELS 55<\/a>), held at Yale University. Her talk, \u201cA Say verb or Complementizer: Analyzing shuo<\/em> Following Communicative and Non-Communicatives,\u201d explored how the say verb shuo<\/em> in Mandarin behaves after different predicates.<\/span><\/p>\n
