Rutgers Linguistics was well represented at Sinn und Bedeutung<\/em> 30 (SuB30<\/a>), held in Frankfurt, Germany, this year. Our new semantics faculty member, Professor Ryan Walter Smith, presented a poster on “The semantics of memory reports in Sorani Kurdish.”<\/span><\/p>\n

There were also five talks by Rutgers students (Quartz Colvin, Ariela Ye and Vinny Czarnecki) and recent Rutgers alum (Sreekar Raghotham). Ziling Zhu, a graduate alum, was also in attendance at the conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
