1. We have recently discovered that metabolic tricarboxylic acid and fatty acid beta-oxidation enzymes reside in the nucleus, as well as, the mitochondria, for which we are investigation their roles in histone modifications.
2. We are also investigating the differential roles of glucose, fatty acids, and amino acids metabolism in histone posttranslational modifications and transcriptional regulation during cardiac hypertrophy and failure.
