At this time we do not have any additional travel funding that we can offer to newly registered participants. We sent registered participants a discount code for a local hotel.

Rutgers-Newark campus is within an 18-minute train ride to Manhattan (New York City).  The conference will be held in Conklin Hall, 175 University Ave, Newark, on Saturday, and Smith Hall, 101 Warren St, Newark, on Sunday. Two train stations are within walking distance: Newark Broad Street (closer) and Newark Penn Station. Googlemaps shows the train schedules. Parking on campus can be tricky, since metered parking spots on the streets are often full. If you need to park, you are welcome to email organizers at least two weeks in advance, and we will reply with instructions regarding visitor parking permit for Rutgers-Newark parking lots.

Airports: there is an international airport in Newark, with the code EWR. The other airports in the area are JFK and La Guardia (both international), and, further away, Westchester County Airport (domestic). There is a free hotel shuttle from Newark airport to TRYP hotel. It is also possible to use Uber or Lyft apps for a ride from the airport, and there are trains (but not a direct line).
