The laboratory is seeking a recent PhD graduate or early-stage postdoctoral researcher interested in working on cutting-edge projects focused on the gene regulatory networks driving senescence-associated transitions during the early stages of cancer and the development of therapeutic resistance.
Current projects along this research line include:

Investigating transitions through oncogene-induced senescence (OIS) and therapy-induced senescence (TIS) using primary human mammary epithelial cells and breast cancer cell culture models.

Developing a colonic organoid model to study escape from OIS in a 3D model system.
Key findings from these projects will also be validated using relevant mouse models.
Qualifications & Profile: The ideal candidate has a strong background in epigenomics and molecular biology, with hands-on experience in the computational analysis of high-throughput sequencing data (e.g., RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag). We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in understanding and manipulating the gene regulatory networks of senescence transitions during cancer development and progression as a novel approach to discovering more effective therapies.
