Bernstein Media Mentoring Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Institute for Women\u2019s Leadership): Annual mentorship program addressing the underrepresentation of women in leadership, production, and creative roles across all media and information technology platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ol.rutgers.edu\/programs\/plda\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PreDoctoral Leadership Development Academy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership, w\/ support from schools, including SGS): A one-year program designed to provide doctoral students from a broad array of academic disciplines with the supplemental knowledge and skills needed for academic and administrative leadership roles.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">School of Graduate Studies and Constituent Graduate Programs:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Annual Women in Philosophy Mentoring Dinner (Philosophy Department): Annual dinner where female-identifying faculty and graduate students meet with undergraduates to discuss their personal experiences and the profession.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/athenainaction2022.weebly.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Athena in Action: A Networking and Mentoring Workshop for Graduate Student Women in Philosophy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: This annual workshop brings together a group of graduate students with a group of women faculty mentors for three days of substantive philosophical discussion and professional advicesessions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mbs.rutgers.edu\/alumni-student-mentoring-program\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alumni-Student Mentoring Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Professional Science Master\u2019s Program): Designed to offer guidance to MBS students throughout their graduate journey by pairing them with high-performing MBS alumni who are excelling in their professional careers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/grad.rutgers.edu\/diversity-and-outreach\/current-graduate-students\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Institute on Teaching and Mentoring:<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> SGS sponsors graduate students of color to attend this annual symposium hosted by the Compact for Faculty Diversity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nrmnet.net\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">NRMN-CIC Academic Network<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: SGS is part of this national network offering mentoring resources and training for grad students, postdocs, and faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (NEAGEP): Rutgers is part of this partnership comprised of 10 research-intensive institutions and 5 MSIs that develop mechanisms to recruit, support, and mentor underrepresented students in STEM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/grad.rutgers.edu\/professional-development\/leadership-and-mentoring-skills\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Effective Research Mentoring of Undergraduates Workshop<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (SGS): This annual workshop &#8212; hosted by Evelyn Erenrich, Janet Alder, and Xenia Morin \u2013 is designed to equip postdocs and graduate students with the skills and tools for effective mentoring of undergraduates in research settings.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/grad.rutgers.edu\/diversity-and-outreach\/current-graduate-students\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mentoring Up workshop<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (SGS): This workshop uses NRMN case studies and small-group dialogues to support grad students and postdocs in reflecting on their relationships with their advisors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rise.rutgers.edu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Research Intensive Summer Experience (RISE)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: In this 10-week summer research program, outstanding undergraduates from diverse backgrounds participate in cutting-edge research under the guidance of carefully matched faculty mentors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/grad.rutgers.edu\/diversity-and-outreach\/current-graduate-students\/mentoring-for-sj\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mentoring for Social Justice and Community-Building Project<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: A year-long, guided mentorship experience for graduate students to learn about aligning mentorship with social justice principles and serve as mentors for Douglass Residential College undergraduates.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Douglass Residential College:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
