Jewish Musicians in Eighteenth-Century London Presented by the Raritan Players

Rebecca Cypess (director and square piano), Ian Pomerantz (bass-baritone), Anne Slovin (soprano), and Eve Miller (cello). This program, performed on period instruments, explores the work of eighteenth-century Jewish composers and performers in the English capital, as well as themes of diaspora, belonging, and music as a vehicle for the articulation of community. Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.
