NMC 85 GEORGE STREET, NEW BRUNSWICKDark Mountains by Robert Paterson, a work commissioned by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and premiered in 2011, will be featured, musically depicting the beautiful mountain landscape in the Northeast of the United States with occasional reminiscences of Copland’s Appalachian Spring, as well as works by Russian composers Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
