The Rutgers University Jazz Ensemble I, directed by Conrad Herwig, will feature a tribute to band leader, pianist, and composer Count Basie. The premier twenty-two-piece student jazz orchestra will showcase arrangements from Basie’s best-known recordings, including “Moten Swing”, and “The Kid From Red Bank.”
