The recital application is not approved until each adjudicator sends a confirmation email to the front office manager.<\/p>\n<div style=\"max-width:720px;margin:0 auto 22px;background-color:#fdecef;border-left:4px solid #cc0033;border-radius:10px;padding:14px 20px;line-height:1.55\">\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 8px\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">Recital Forms must be submitted 20 business days before the date of the recital.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">Lecture Recital Forms must be submitted 4-weeks before the date of the recital.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;text-align:left\">Late forms are subject to the following penalties:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"max-width:720px;margin:0 auto 16px;padding-left:24px;line-height:1.6\">\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 8px\">Fewer than four weeks (20 business days) before the scheduled recital date: <em>Recital may be canceled.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0\">Less than one week (5 business days) before the scheduled recital date: <em>Recital will be canceled.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"max-width:720px;margin:0 auto 22px;background-color:#fdecef;border-left:4px solid #cc0033;border-radius:10px;padding:14px 20px;line-height:1.55\"><strong>Note: Recitals can not be cancelled fewer than 10 business days before the scheduled recital date<\/strong><\/div>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:1.3rem;font-weight:800;color:#cc0033;margin:34px 0 14px;padding-bottom:6px;border-bottom:2px solid #f0d6dd;text-align:left\">Lecture-Recital Procedures<\/h2>\n<ol style=\"max-width:740px;margin:0 auto 20px;padding-left:24px;line-height:1.6\">\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">The student works with Lecture-Recital Advisor (LRA) on the written document.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">During the writing process or upon completion of a draft of the lecture-recital paper, the candidate (in consultation with the advisor) should seek out one other member of the faculty to serve as a \u201cthird reader,\u201d who should be a member of the academic faculty.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">When the paper is completed, the student, LRA, applied teacher, and third reader agree on a time\/date for the recital at least 4 weeks in advance.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">The LRA reserves the hall with MGSA Scheduling, either through email or through artspace.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">The student completes the online application. This must be done at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the lecture-recital.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">The student delivers the paper to the applied teacher and the third reader immediately after submitting the application.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">The applied teacher and third reader may require changes made to the paper, to be communicated to the student at any point between the application submission and the date of the lecture-recital.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">Student presents the lecture-recital.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin:0 0 12px\">Student submits the final version of the paper to the graduate advisor, signed by all three readers.
