Moreover, microemulsion can enhance the permeation process, improving the bioavailability of the incorporated drug.\u00a0 In our lab we investigate microemulsions and microemulsion-based polymer gels as potential carriers for topical and transdermal delivery of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. One of the most important aims of our studies is to assess the physicochemical factors which are crucial for the skin permeation and determine the therapeutic efficiency of the formulation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
