Participate in Research
Our team at Rutgers University has launched a new study to learn how people with the 3q29 deletion and 3q29 duplication think, feel, grow, and develop. We are also interested in learning how parents of children with the 3q29 deletion and duplication think and feel. We hope your family will help us by participating in a variety of assessments that will be conducted over the internet. These will take the form of interviews, questionnaires, and computer tasks that will feel like games. We will also collect a saliva sample from each participant using a special collection kit which we will send in the mail.
Assessments will be completed entirely at home over the course of several days and at times which accommodate your schedule, after which we will share the results of your child’s performance with you as well as a report with the results. The study is free to all participants, and you will be compensated for your time.
