Emily joined the Munroe lab in 2019 as a Master’s student in the ecology and evolution program to study the influence of salinity on larval oyster swimming behavior and early post-settlement growth. Prior to joining the Munroe lab, Emily double majored in marine biology and environmental science at UNC Wilmington where she completed an honors thesis examining zooplankton abundance and diversity as it related to oyster aquaculture. Emily is currently employed with J.S. Held as an environmental scientist.
