Kaitlyn is a Seasonal Marine Field Technician in the Munroe Lab. She is a junior studying marine biology at the University of Rhode Island. Her research interests include protecting and bettering coastal ecosystems through developing living shorelines and improving restoration and resilience practices. She is interested in pursuing science communication and conservation efforts in coastal communities. As a technician, Kaitlyn has been contributing to a variety of shellfish projects both in the field and in the lab.
