Laura Steeves will be joining the Munroe lab as a postdoctoral researcher in summer 2022. She will explore the combined effects of warming water temperature and ocean acidification on the physiology of the Atlantic surfclam (Spisula solidissima). Laura comes from Nova Scotia, Canada, where she completed my Master of Marine Management and PhD at Dalhousie University. Her previous research on bivalves has focused on the ecophysiology of mussels, oysters, and scallops using a combination of laboratory, field, and modelling studies.
