Rebecca Lucero was a RIOS intern in 2021 from UNC Charlotte. Rebecca joined Daphne Munroe’s lab to analyze how oyster farms may function similarly to oyster reefs in wave attenuation on intertidal sand flats in the lower Delaware Bay. She used wave gauges placed throughout an intertidal oyster farm to measure wave pressure differences between a farm and a control site.
