http://sites.rutgers.edu/munroe-lab/wp-content/uploads/sites/815/2022/05/Ryan_Fluke-rotated.jpg480640Ryan Harner studied Environmental Science from Stockton University, and joined the Munroe Lab in 2016 to study the population characteristics of Summer Flounder (Paralichthys dentatus). Ryan sampled Summer Flounder on board recreational for-hire vessels. His results suggest that there are regional and seasonal trends in the discarded fish, such that males tend to be larger in the north, and more males enter the catch as the season progresses.
