We are delighted to continue our Community Writing Center workshops in 2024. Our Community Writing Center, Newark Writes!, holds bi-monthly workshops on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

This Winter we will start with two workshops on Humor Writing (February 8 and 22), followed by a workshop on “Fiction: The Basics” (March 28).

Workshops are free of charge and open to all members of the Newark community. All workshops provide hands-on instruction, with time built in for writing and sharing written work. Refreshments are served.
