We are delighted to continue our Community Writing Center workshops in 2025. Our Community Writing Center, Newark Writes!, holds bi-monthly workshops on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

This Winter/Spring we will start with workshops on both Writing Personal Statements (February 27) and Fiction Writing – Tell Me A Story (March 13) and The Writer’s Mind (March 27).

Workshops are free of charge and open to all members of the Newark community. All workshops provide hands-on instruction, with time built in for writing and sharing written work. Refreshments are served.
