This year, <strong>NewGeo is leading several key educational stations<\/strong> focused on building a greener, healthier Newark:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\ud83e\udeb1 Compost Education Table (10:00 AM \u2013 4:00 PM)<\/strong><br \/>\n  In collaboration with the Greater Newark Conservancy, learn how composting turns food waste into rich nutrients for our gardens. Discover how compost supports environmental justice through community gardening.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\ud83c\udf31 Soil Health &amp; Sustainability<\/strong><br \/>\n  Explore how healthy soil builds resilient ecosystems. NewGeo will guide activities that demonstrate soil-building techniques and urban gardening solutions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2600\ufe0f Solar Power &amp; Clean Energy<\/strong><br \/>\n  Dive into the world of renewable energy and learn how solar power plays a vital role in sustainability and climate resilience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other highlights of the day include a seedling giveaway, raised bed planting, and a featured talk on <strong>\u201cBirds, Art, and Nature\u201d<\/strong> with local artist <strong>@freud_floyd<\/strong>.
