Jamir is the Program Manager of the CoOrdinatoed Outreach and Linkage program providing HIV testing throughout Newark NJ via the Rutgers IDP mobile unit. Also, Jamir manages all Community Engagement activities across the department with the inclusion of Research with a Heart. Social media development, program management, oratory skills and public health advocacy are some of his specialties. Jamir’s experience with LGBTQ+ groups, underserved populations and community engagement are leveraged by his infectious personality, communication skills and public health expertise. Mr. Tuten has demonstrated his belief in the work being done in our communities and the support he provides to community members.
