Ms. DeShields serves as a primary Study Coordinator for the HPTN Research team. Having completed both her undergrad and Masters degrees at Rutgers, her unique perspective of the University serves as an asset to the Department of Medicine. Under her leadership, the Infectious Disease Practice and HPTN studies exceed expectations. Quick to laugh and share homemade foods, her ambition, empathy and sense of humor encourage everyone to go above and beyond.
