emerge from galls around July or August and fly to Douglas firs<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">t to lay eggs which overwinter, producing a new brood in the spring, which can damage <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">and distort trees but does not form\u00a0<\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\"
