M. Christina Dogbey-Smith, MPH

Christina Dogbey-Smith, MPH, is the Reproductive and Maternal Health Program Director at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Christina received her master’s in public health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health. She has over 15 years of experience as a supervising epidemiologist with extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis. During her career she has developed public health surveillance systems, managed federal, state and local grant application processes, authored public health strategic plans and built community partnerships with nonprofits, local government and international non-governmental agencies.

Prior to her coming to Rutgers School of Public Health, she worked at the University of Pennsylvania working to improve health equity through health data analysis and developed the strategic approach to increasing inclusivity in clinical and psychiatric services in their Student Wellness Division. As the program director, she directly oversees study activities including managing regulatory affairs, supervising data collection, directing data analysis and overall project management
