Expired or Used Naloxone Kits

If you’ve used or have an expired Naloxone kit, we’re here to help. Our program offers free replacement kits for individuals and organizations located in New Jersey who have previously received Naloxone through our trainings.

Replacing used or expired kits ensures continued readiness to respond to an overdose and keeps our communities prepared and protected.

Used Naloxone Kits

If you’ve administered Naloxone during an overdose, we’ll send you a full free replacement kit.

When submitting your replacement request, you’ll be asked to provide the Naloxone kit number and the date it was used. This information helps us track distribution and get Naloxone to the areas that need it.

Expired Naloxone Kits

Narcan expires after 4 years. The expiration date is located on the bottom of the box of Narcan. If your kit has reached or passed its expiration date, you can request a replacement.

To determine if your Narcan is expired, please check the expiration date printed on the box. If you’re unsure or cannot locate the date, feel free to contact us and we’ll be glad to assist.
