The Libros Perdidos (Lost Books) series is a Collaboration between the Puerto Rico Archival Collaboration, the Centro de Estudios Iberoamericanos of the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo and the Puerto Rican Studies Initiative of the University of Connecticut. We will publish a series of forgotten or unpublished texts on the history of Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans. The online-only book series will promote access to valuable texts (including many based on dissertations and theses), curated by Prof. Lauria Santiago and PRAC collaborators. Books will be published as formatted books in PDF with the option of user-purchased on-demand printing.

We are interested in unpublished theses and dissertations on Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans for the series of online-only books called “Libros Perdidos.”
- No money involved on our end; we pay for the reformatting and PDF work.
- No reviewers except minimal cleanup, no prestige beyond getting the thing in more people’s hands.
- Main page: dissertation stuff required by schools. Deleted.
Reach out if you are interested in participating.
We need a manuscript in word or wordperfect format ideally.
