Rutgers Geography Ph.D. student Laurian Rosa begins her internship at the AGPR. Funded by the PRAC Laurian will work organizing a collection of documents from Mining Commission of the Departmento de Recursos Naturales. The collection includes over 400 boxes and hundreds of charts. Laurian, a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, will spend part of her time in Puerto Rico defining a dissertation project. She is also funded by a Rutgers Center for Latin American Studies research grant.
Here she discusses the collection with archivist Pedro Roig. Archivist Juan Roman will be coordinating the work.
