PRAC summer intern Laurian Rosa completed her collaboration with the PRAC last week. Laurian begain organizing the Departmento de Recursos Naturales, Colección Comisión de Minería. Two other interns will continue the work.
Laurian, a UPR graduate, is doing preliminary research for her dissertation in geography at Rutgers University. She is interested in large scale development projects in 20th Century Puerto Rico. She has continued her work at other archives and libraries.
Lauria received support for her summer research from the Rutgers Center for Latin American Studies and the Geography Department. We are thankful for her work and know that she will return next summer.
