{"id":515,"date":"2022-04-01T15:54:42","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T15:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/prl-research-award\/?page_id=515"},"modified":"2026-02-19T20:14:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T20:14:26","slug":"award-information-and-eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/prl-research-award\/award-information-and-eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Award Information and Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.rutgers.edu\/awardapp\"><strong>Apply now through March 22!<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Rutgers University-Camden student working towards undergraduate degree in any school<\/li>\n<li>Individual or team entries accepted (award split evenly between team members)<\/li>\n<li>Project should be original work completed for a semester-long, credit-bearing course<\/li>\n<li>Project completed anytime from Spring 2025 to Spring 2026<\/li>\n<li>Winners agree to a short, public presentation of their research (lightning talk) and to having project added to RUCore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New Researcher Award:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project should be original work completed by a first-year student(s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First place: $1,000<\/li>\n<li>Runner-Up (two awards): $500<\/li>\n<li>New Researcher: $250<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications should include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your research paper or project in PDF or Word format;<\/li>\n<li>a bibliography of sources used in your project in PDF or Word format;<\/li>\n<li>and a reflective essay (250-500 words) in PDF or Word format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reflective essay (250-500 words) should include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The strategy you used to find resources (e.g. search terms, databases used, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>your process for evaluating the resources;<\/li>\n<li>and your reasoning for including the specific resources you used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apply now through March 22!
