The connecting thread of the participants in this group is prosody. Collectively, our interests and expertise in prosody involve a wide array of topics, including: language acquisition, perception, production, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and the interface between prosody and other linguistic domains such as pragmatics. For that, we use a wide range of methodologies, from corpus linguistics to (psycho-)physiological experiments.

In addition to regular meetings to discuss papers and members’ research, we also collaborate to invite and advertise guest talks and occasionally host special larger events. See our News&Activities for the most up-to-date news.

On these pages, you can find out more information about the members of ProsodyLab, relevant publications produced by group members, and past and future events that we’re involved in.
