Will contributors be credited?
Yes. Contributors whose work is included in the final synthesis will be credited as co authors in the main journal publication.
How do I submit my contribution?
You can submit your perspective using the Co Author Collaboration Interface (CI).
- The CI is the only accepted submission method.
- Submissions sent by email or any other method will not be reviewed.
Can I edit or withdraw my submission?
- Submitted contributions cannot be edited or withdrawn.
- Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
- You may request removal of your name from authorship.
- Accepted contributors will have one opportunity to review the final manuscript before publication.
Confidentiality
- All submissions remain confidential until publication.
- Drafts and internal communications must not be shared externally.
- Raw data will remain confidential until publication.
- Post publication data sharing may occur unless anonymity is requested.
What is this project about?
DefAI seeks to unlock the semantic black box surrounding artificial intelligence by synthesizing perspectives from more than 100 scholars and practitioners across disciplines.
The goal is to identify areas of consensus and divergence in how key AI constructs are defined and understood.
Who can participate?
- Participation is by invitation only.
- The contributor pool is intentionally global and interdisciplinary.
- Invited contributors may come from academia, industry, government, and nonprofit sectors.
Use of AI Generated Content
AI generated or plagiarized content is strictly prohibited.
Any such content may result in exclusion from the project and loss of co authorship eligibility.
