Make sure your submission is final before you hit \u201cSubmit.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>While a submission cannot be withdrawn, it also does not imply that it will be accepted or included \u2014 any submission could be excluded based on editorial decisions.<\/li>\n<li>You can withdraw your name from the project. If your contribution is accepted and included, it will be treated as an anonymous contribution.<\/li>\n<li>All included co-authors will have one chance to read the final draft of the manuscript before publication. Authors will have 5 days to respond if they wish to withdraw their name; otherwise, it will be included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What are the confidentiality requirements for unpublished drafts and internal communications?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>All submissions are held in strict confidence until the project\u2019s publication.<\/li>\n<li>Unpublished drafts or internal communications must not be shared outside the approved contributor group.<\/li>\n<li>Raw data are expected to remain confidential until publication.<\/li>\n<li>After publication, raw data may be shared publicly along with contributor names, unless anonymity was requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How much time am I expected to devote to writing my submission, and can I submit more than once?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Each author is expected to spend 90\u2013120 minutes preparing their original content.<\/li>\n<li>Only one submission is allowed per author.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What citation style should I use if I include references in my contribution?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Citations are not mandatory or expected.<\/li>\n<li>If you include references, they must follow APA 6 format.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all in-text citations and bibliography entries follow APA 6 exactly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How will co-authorship be determined and ordered in the final journal manuscript?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Editorial Author and Lead Authors (who manage and synthesize contributions) will be listed first.<\/li>\n<li>All other contributors will be listed alphabetically.<\/li>\n<li>The Editorial Author\u2019s decision on authorship order is final and binding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Under what license will the project outputs be released, and are contributors paid?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The main publication will follow the publisher&#8217;s terms (e.g., IEEE, Elsevier).<\/li>\n<li>Raw data may be released under <strong>CC BY-NC-SA 4.0<\/strong> (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike) after publication.<\/li>\n<li>Additional outputs may be released on the publisher\u2019s terms or as open access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What happens if I unintentionally include AI-generated text or plagiarized content in my submission?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>AI-generated or plagiarized content is strictly prohibited and violates the project\u2019s ethical standards.<\/li>\n<li>Such content will result in exclusion from the project and denial of co-authorship \u2014 regardless of intent or stage of discovery.<\/li>\n<li>Submissions must be original and written in your own words.<\/li>\n<li>Reusing your own writing that has been published elsewhere is allowed and not considered self-plagiarism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What is this collaborative research project about?<\/h4>\n<p>This project aims to unlock the semantic black box surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) by synthesizing diverse insights from over 100 co-authors across multiple sectors. Simply put, we aim to develop a measure of universality on definitions of key AI constructs.<\/p>\n<h4>What is expected of contributors?<\/h4>\n<p>Contributors must share their own original insights on AI-related topics.
