PGY 7
Neil, a native of New Jersey, first became interested in Neurosurgery during his undergraduate studies at New York University as a Neuroscience major. He completed his medical school training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Neil is interested in pursuing a career in cerebrovascular neurosurgery and completed his first year of fellowship training as an enfolded fellow at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ. His research interests include both basic science and clinical research investigating traumatic brain injury, stroke, and aneurysms. As a resident, Neil has won the Golden Apple teaching award and continues to pursue his research interests. Outside of medicine, Neil enjoys playing sports, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
