The Full-Time MBA Immersive Orientation formally known as the Co-Curricular Experience – The MBA Edge
0-credit bearing, mandatory for first-year FT MBA students and a graduation requirement.

Course Overview: The First-year Orientation Immersion Experience – The MBA Edge, is a first-year graduate-level Orientation beginning at Orientation in August designed to allow MBA students to develop critical business competencies. The Orientation is designed to be interactive, allowing students to apply what they learn to real-world situations. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in data analytics and visualization, sales, presentation skills, Excel, Tableau, Montecarlo Simulation, leadership proficiency, and networking skills. Consequently, the Orientation aims to develop the student professionally with the qualities and skills needed for a successful business career.
Four sessions will be held in the Fall semester and four in the Spring semester of the first year of the MBA program. Each section will be 90-120 minutes long, depending on student engagement and questions.
Day and Time: Various days and times in-person or online that will not conflict with your coursework.
This course will be added to your transcript during your second semester and is required for graduation. Students are expected to attend and be engaged during class sessions.
Fall Semester Classes:

The MBA Enhancement Modules are also required for this Orientation by Dec. 15th.
Calc and Stat Modules are also due by Dec. 15th and are a separate graduation requirement, and required for your spring coursework.
Spring Semester Classes:
TBA at the beginning of January

3. Complete Your Modules on Coursera
Submit completion certificates or proof of completion to mba@business.rutgers.edu by Dec. 15th.
