Orientation Parking:

Here you will find the parking registration information for Orientation only. You must register if you plan to drive to campus. Please register your vehicles before parking at EAGLE WEST LOT 509. (Entrance on Orange St between Burnet and Eagle Streets.) Address for GPS: 120 Orange St, Newark, NJ 07102. Please check the lot sign when you park to avoid parking citations. After you park, proceed to 1 Washington Park, a two-minute walk from the lot.

Failure to register your automobile will lead to ticketing or towing by the Rutgers Police Department. Our department will not reimburse you for any citations or towing. The parking pass expires each day and is non-transferable on any other day. Please contact RU Transportation if you have any questions about Orientation parking or parking for the Fall semester.

Parking for Orientation socials:

McGovern’s and Spanish Pavillion are walkable from Rutgers Business School. However, you can street park near McGovern’s, and park near or in Spanish Pavillion’s lot in Harrison, NJ.  Please note: street parking is not guaranteed and is not free.

For the cruise, which will be located at 1500 Harbor Blvd, Weehawken, NJ 07086, feel free to park at Rutgers and take the bus we will provide. You can also take public transportation to Weehawken, NJ, or you can park on-site for free. Please contact Hornblower directly for parking information and directions.

BOARDING AT: Lincoln Harbor Marina: 1500 Harbor Blvd, Weehawken NJ 07086.

BOARDING PROCESS:

  • Boarding passes are accessed by the QR code that is attached, and can be scanned the day of your cruise at our ticket booth located at the entrance of the marina. Please be sure to bring a valid form of Photo ID and a printed out copy of the confirmation email just in case you cannot pull it up on your phone.
  • Boarding begins at 6:30 PM and departs promptly at 7:00 PM
  • Our third party photography team, Photogenics will be taking boarding photos of each group during the boarding process and while onboard. These photographs make for a great souvenir. If interested, photos can be pre-purchased at a special discounted rate prior to your cruise please let me know, or you can purchase them once onboard at full price.

 

PARKING: IF ARRIVING BY BUS, PLEASE NOTE ALL BUSES MUST PARK OFFSITE AFTER DROP OFF. PARKING IN THE VICINITY OF LINCOLN HARBOR MARINA IS PROHIBITED.

Parking Info for Lincoln Harbor Marina City Cruises Guests:

  • Public parking is available in the Whole Foods Parking Garage on Level 2.
  • Main Entrance to Whole Foods Parking Garage is on Waterfront Terrace between 19th Street & River View Terrace.
  • Monday through Friday, parking on Level 2 will be validated at time of garage exit. Upon exit, insert parking ticket into machine at gate and press call button to speak to attendant letting them know you are a City Cruises guest exiting.
  • Saturday through Sunday, parking on Level 2 will need to be paid for by guests at pay station before exiting.
  • Free weekday parking offered is subject to change per ownership of parking lots. City Cruises does not own the parking lots or parking facilities.
      • WHEN SEARCING IN GOOGLE OR BING MAPS TYPE “1350 Waterfront Terrance Weehawken NJ” is the actual address to the entrance way of the parking garage.
    • *IMPORTANT: make sure you are not parking in the “Whole Foods Parking Lot”
      • When finding parking follow signs for GUEST PARKING.
  • Paid Parking – Lot located directly across the street from the Marina.
  • Current Rate: $15.00 for the length of the cruise and $30.00 overnight.
