Online Professional Development Series – Module #1: Conflict Management & Constructive Contention

When interfacing individually and in groups, not everybody shares the same perspectives. This lack of often sharing times leads to conflict directly or indirectly, often called “water cooler sabotage.”

This module offers techniques and alternatives to strengthening individual and team dynamics through a concept called “Constructive Contention.”

 Students will engage through a representative submittal of a complex conflict to manage that would have benefited from remediation. We will select several to bring the module to real life. Students will have the option to mask or unmask their names. However, the scenarios that we choose will best serve the individual author presenting their case.
