Social Complexity Lab Recruitment

– Recruitment happens approximately a week prior to registration.

– To be eligible to be a Research Assistant (RA) in the lab you must

have demonstrated strong performance in one of my courses,

including engagement in class discussions.

– RAs register for Psyc 391 Research in Psychology

– Commitment of 9 hours per week.

2026-2027 projects include:

– social identity complexity and authenticity

– psychological needs theories

– social power definitions and manipulations

– self complexity and political ideology

– cognitive complexity and political hypocrisy
