  • In addition to my Social Complexity Lab at least 3 other social psychology labs                                               will provide info about their lab and recruitment.
Specific info for the Social Complexity Lab:
I am looking for six students for the 2026-2027 academic year.
You will register for Psyc 391 Research in Psychology  for the fall (and likely spring) semester.
Commitment of 10 hours per week.
  • Attendance at the info night April 14 is the only way to become a candidate for joining the lab.
  • To be eligible you must have already demonstrated strong performance in one of my courses.

 

If accepted into the lab you will conduct literature reviews in one of the following areas:
– social identity complexity
– psychological needs theories
– social power definitions and manipulations
– self complexity and political ideology
– cognitive complexity and political hypocrisy
