- Gejia Zhang (2024 – present); Gejia researches power system reliability models with decision-dependent uncertainty.
- Thomas Mortimer (incoming, Fall 2024). Thomas researches new methods to guarantee resource adequacy in energy-limited and stochastic energy systems. He previously finished his Masters degree at DTU.
Master Students:
- ROPES supports two master and one undergrad students in competing in the IEEE Hybrid Energy Forecasting and Trading Competition during Spring ’24.
- Laila Saleh, Damjan Postolovski, Rodrick Zapanta (undergrad)
Undergraduate Students:
- ROPES is proud to host 3 talented engineering students in Spring ’24 through the Douglass Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Project SUPER who will work on questions related to the challenges arising from “Electrify Everything” to achieve economy-wide decarbonization.
- Vaibhavi Borra, Isabella Iaia, Tanusri Ramakrishnan
Want to join?
- Opportunities will be posted here soon.
- Independent of current opportunities I am always interested in meeting talented students with a strong background and/or interest in power system analysis, optimization, control, or statistics. Feel free to reach out: robert.mieth[at]rutgers.edu.
