Helen Han, MD

Adult Epileptologist (Neurologist)

Dr. Han is an assistant professor of neurology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders and epilepsy. Dr. Han received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University in Illinois. She completed medical school and internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, neurology residency at Icahn School of Medicine, and a one-year fellowship in epilepsy at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She has a particular interest in neuromodulation for treatment of epilepsy.  

As an epilepsy specialist, her aim is to guide patients through the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, restoring patients’ sense of control over their lives and disease through education.  

She is involved in education within the community as well as within the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
