Dr. Edward Chen is an assistant professor of neurology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders and epilepsy.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick (Cell Biology & Neuroscience). He completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center (NY), neurology residency and a 2-year fellowship in epilepsy & clinical neurophysiology at Barrow Neurological Institute & St. Joseph’s Hospital (Phoenix, AZ).
He has a particular interest in epilepsy surgery and neuromodulation for treatment of epilepsy.
He has worked on research trials & other studies in neuromodulation for epilepsy.
